Taking Shape

driving across

canadian prairies

documenting disappearing

grain elevators

in stillness

my heart

holding every moment

we’re companions

in confusion

How do I honour

after loss

I’ll never be the same

I’m learning to breathe again

changing shape

changing colour

  1. “learning to breathe again/changing shape/changing color.”
this was a killer line my superbly talented friend

  2. There are many times I’ve had to learn to breathe again, or changed shape and colour. I’m sure in character I’m unrecognisable from who I used to be – for the better. Those changes are inevitable and also essential. I hope you like your new shape Geo. :)
