Beautiful, painfully beautiful. Poem and image, both. Familiar, both. Courage and heart–the answers! Wishing them to all who seek them. Peace.

Open and honest.
an old poem
learning
trusting my vulnerability
the same way as you did before
only this time stronger and deeper in love
finding hope in a tiny lil’ daughter
your greatest blessing from God Above
from a time
reconnecting with my wife
before
our love created
our miracle
our daughter
it’s the small intimacies…
the ones that gentle
boundaries endangered
that build
possibilities of surrender
and sometimes
it’s only the face
of the moon
so many
small intricacies
gentle smiles and shadows
from the tides
Two voices….
Beautifully answered, Geo Sans. Do you mind if I publish this?
of course
all words are casual air

I think this one is yours …. maybe I was being intuitive when I said…”Two voices” …it’s an argument between the adman and the poet. I was thinking it wasn’t quite finished and then I read this…

beautiful stuff…
maybe
all our words, thoughts, poems
a continuing dialogue
sorting
re-distributing
our own interpretations
Wow. That painting is expressive.
Your words – there is something so, so raw about being naked before someone: not just physically naked, but emotionally, with your heart in your hand. Great poetry.

nothing more meaningful

That is painfully,

Vulnerable in your nakedness, your sensitivity is your strength. Beautiful poem.

new perceptions
of strength
When loss comes from a body, it is so hard to want anything to come close again, for fear it will be destroyed or you will hate it forever.
Love can often times be an uncomfortable fit.

A vulnerability of being naked for the first time or inhibited by sexual expressions. Love the painting well done.
